Venture Capital Job – Venture Analyst – Bolstart

Role Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for a Venture Analyst at Bolstart. The Venture Analyst will be responsible for scouting potential startups/companies/acquirers, conducting due diligence, and facilitating investments. They will work closely with startups and larger acquirers, investors, and VCs to support the investment process and ensure successful partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, business, or a related field, as well as experience in venture capital or private equity.

Qualifications:

• Startup/Business scouting, due diligence, and investment facilitation skills
• Strong networking and relationship-building abilities
• Knowledge of startup ecosystem and investment trends
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field
• Experience in venture capital or angel investing is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research & analysis to identify potential investment opportunities in target sectors.
• Evaluate potential investments and conduct due diligence, including financial analysis, market analysis, and competitive landscape assessment.
• Support the investment team in negotiating and executing investment transactions. Assist portfolio companies with financial analysis, strategic planning, and operational improvement initiatives.
• Monitor and track portfolio company performance and prepare regular reports for senior management and investors.
• Collaborate with the investment team to develop and execute investment strategies and identify new opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with industry contacts, including entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and advisors.
• Participate in industry events to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in finance, Business, or a related field.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or a related field.
• Strong financial analysis skills, including experience with financial modeling, due diligence, and valuation.
• Knowledge of Venture Capital, Private Equity and Mergers & Acquisition deal structures and terms.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex business opportunities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Passion for entrepreneurship and the startup ecosystem.
• Experience with data analysis tools and techniques is a plus.

Salary: Rs 2.64 – 3.24 LPA
