“Techkriti” is the “Annual International Technical & Entrepreneurial Festival” of IIT Kanpur where all the greatest mind come together and showcase their creativity along with technical skills. Since its very inception, it has provided a platform for students to showcase their talents. It has repea.tedly satisfied the creative appetite of students and has been a source of noble solutions to many socio-economic and scientific problems of our times. Renowned personalities include the likes of Nobel Prize Winners such as Dr. Anthony Legett, Dr Douglas Osheroff, the only Field Medallist to have given a talk in India, Dr. Vladimir Voevodsky,  and big names like Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, Wing Commander Rakesh Sharma, Mr. Narayan Murthi, Dr., J. P. Narayan, Ex-President Afghanistan Mr. Hamid Karzai, etc.  
Techkriti enters its 29th edition and is ready to inspire, innovate and exterminate social evils through its competitions, talks, exhibitions, workshops, social campaigns etc. This year it will be organized from  23rd to 26th march 2023.

Technovation Events in Techkriti’23 aims at tiptoeing this infinite potential of the human mind to generate an idea, which when given a proper platform, can transform into a path breaking discovery. We invite you to bring forth such original ideas and present it in a genuine and comprehensive way. The idea may be anything ranging from a new method of drying coconut to an ingenious technique of harnessing solar power from satellites floating above our heads.

1.Techkriti Innovation Challenge(TIC) : TIC presents you a wonderful platform where you can showcase your innovative ideas in form of a model, prototype, patent, cool apps or any software product in front of an elegant Panel of Judges. We team Techkriti’23 invite you from around the globe to unleash the future of technology by applying your ideas and imagination. Prize money for this event is worth Rs 1.75 Lakhs. For further details you can check this link  here. 

2.Industry Interaction Institute (III) : Better interaction between technical institutions and industry is the need of the hour.With the advent of the globalization and opening of the India Economy to the outside world, competition among industries has ,become stian ff. To solve the engineering problems, they now look up to engineering institutions.
