What is the Young Leaders Award?
The Young Leaders Award (YLA) is an annual international prize, launched in 2021, that aims to provide young entrepreneurial leaders with support to grow their businesses. The YLA is open to emerging social entrepreneurs who are running impact-driven businesses or non-for-profit organizations. The YLA is organized by Red Club x Cartier, a community of young multicultural entrepreneurs who share a common vision of conscious leadership and willingness to make a difference.
What is the Theme of the 2024 Edition?
The theme of the 2024 edition of the YLA is “Tech for a Sustainable Future”. The YLA is looking for entrepreneurial endeavors that provide tech-driven solutions to shape the future of people and planet in a sustainable way for a better world. The YLA is interested in technology-led solutions and practices, across different sectors, that provide economic progress while also improving long-term environmental and social well-being.
What are the Benefits of the YLA?
The top four applicants for the 2024 YLA will be announced in June 2024, and the final winner will be revealed at the YLA Ceremony, held in Singapore in October 2024. The winner will take home a grant of €50,000, while the remaining three runners-up will each receive €10,000. The YLA recipient will also benefit from international exposure, media visibility, and a tailor-made mentorship program provided by the academic partners, and ad-hoc coaching and mentoring sessions by Red Club x Cartier networks.
How to Apply for the YLA?
The application process for the YLA consists of two steps:
- Step 1: Complete the Registration Form on the Red Club x Cartier Application Manager by January 31st, 2024 (end of the day, CET time). If you are eligible for the award, you will receive the relevant details to access the Detailed Application Form.
- Step 2: Complete the Detailed Application Form by February 28th, 2024 (end of the day, CET time). You will need to provide information about yourself, your venture, your impact, and your vision. You will also need to upload a pitch deck and a video presentation of your venture.
