1st Half
Minute 26: A good start to the game so far. Man United dominating the counter attacks while Man City look solid on the ball
Minute 27: A promising situation for United again, they win the ball around half line, but end up trickling the ball out for a goal kick from a promising position.
Minute 31: A quiet spell of Man City possession, they are testing and probing the United defense. City ends up winning the corner
Minute 32: Onana makes a mess of dealing with the corner, but United scramble clear
Minute 33: Great atmosphere at Old Trafford, United fans in full song. City still probing and holding on to possession
Minute 36: A passage of sloppy play from both teams, losing possession in quick succession. City lacking the cutting edge in the attack so far. United defense, especially Maguire, has done well
Minute 39: Quick slick play from City, affords Gündoğan the space to shoot from outside the box, shot goes wide.
Minute 40: A switch of play from Dorgu, affords space for a shot on goal from United
Minute 44: Stop start game, with challenges flying all over the place.
Minute 45: +2 minutes added. We have hardly seen anything of Hojlund at the top.
Half Time: 0-0 score-line. United seemed to have the better of the few opportunities in the first half without threating too much. City were good on the ball at times, without the sharp edge at the top. Probably missing Doku, Haaland and Savinho.
2nd Half
Minute 56: Sub. Man City replace Phil Foden with Doku. Lindelof comes on for Magurie at United.
Minute 61: Good move from United. Garnacho finds Bruno at the center of the field, who sweeps it to Dorgu. Dorgu drives a grounded ball into the box which is well defended by Reuben Diaz with Hojlund lurking.
Minute 63: Marmoush wins a freekick from Lindelof. He takes the free kick, gets a decent effort in which has to be saved by Onana
Minute 65: Doku causing problems for Mazroui, who fouls him to keep him from advancing.
Minute 67: Yellow card for Dalot for the tug back on Doku. The resulting free kick is whipped in by De Bruyne and is cleared away for a corner by United.
Minute 68: A flurry of chances for City, the corner falls to Marmoush who shoots from outside the box, catches it cleanly and saved by Onana.
Minute 70: Subs. Mount and Zirkzee subbed in for United in place of Ugarte and Hojlund.
Minute 72: Good play from Garnacho and Bruno Fernandes to create a promising situation for United down the left flank. Garnacho ultimately unable to deliver a good final ball into the box.
Minute 73: Subs. City bring on Jack Grealish and Rico Lewis
Minute 75: Mason Mount has to pick up a yellow card for a cynical foul on Bernado Silva. Stops a potential counter attack from developing.
Minute 77: Good work again down the left. Garnacho and Dorgu combine to deliver a good ball for Zirkzee, he makes good contact and the shot has to be saved by Ederson. Mount with the followup which has to be blocked by Rico Lewis.
