Capital 4 Development Partners (C4D Partners), formerly ICCO Investments, is an Impact Investment
Fund Manager with offices in the Netherlands, India, and Indonesia. Our mission is to create a positive
social-economic impact by investing in SMEs that either:

Create decent jobs for workers from marginalized communities and/or
• Include people from marginalized communities in their supply chain (such as small entrepreneurs,
farmers, artisans, etc.) and/or
• Provide affordable products and/or services to these communities to improve their social-economic
status (energy, water, education, healthcare, etc.)

We specifically target women-owned or women-led SMEs and aim to invest at least 30% of the total
capital into such businesses.

Through our first Fund, C4D Asia Fund, we have invested through equity, mezzanine, and venture debt
in SMEs in the ‘missing middle’ market segment. C4D Asia Fund has a differentiated investment
strategy in the two distinct Asian markets (Indonesia and India) to support inclusive and growing SMEs.
In India, we invest through equity and equity-linked instruments, in growing SMEs, with average ticket
sizes (including follow-on rounds) of >4m USD. We add value to our portfolio companies through board
participation and unlocking the emerging Indian impact investment ecosystem.

We have recently launched our second fund, which is an India-dedicated fund with similar strategies as
our first fund.

We are seeking an Analyst / Senior Analyst to support the senior investment team in the sourcing, due
diligence and execution of social investment deals. We are looking for a candidate who is self-driven
and who has strong financial analysis skills. The key requirements include a solid understanding of
accounting and financial analysis, the ability to work effectively as part of a small team, and an interest
in the aims of social enterprise.

Purpose of the Role

• To assist the senior investment management team in the appraisal and execution of investment
opportunities in social and community enterprises;
• Appraisal of the commercial and financial viability of organizations and their ability to afford to
take on investment;
• Evaluation of the social impact of organizations;
• Maintenance of relationships with portfolio companies and monitoring their social and financial
performance

Specific Responsibilities

• Undertake initial screening of inquiries and assessment of applications for investment from
• Assist investment managers with commercial and financial due diligence, performing market
research and financial analysis, including review of historic and prospective financial information;
• Contribute to the drafting of investment papers for review by investment managers before
submission to the Pre-Investment Committee and Investment Committee;
• Undertake impact performance assessments of existing and prospective investees;
• Support all aspects of investment portfolio management, monitoring the social and financial
performance of existing investments, reviewing management information and compliance with
covenants, and providing investee support;
• Undertake targeted research and marketing efforts in order to support the development of a pipeline
of new investment business opportunities.

Essential Skill Set

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and sound judgment to identify issues and present
creative and practical solutions;
• High proficiency in MS Office;
• Solid foundation in accounting and (Excel) financial model construction;
• Demonstrated teamwork skills;
• Strong client service orientation with openness to feedback and new ideas;
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills; ability to relate sensitively to a wide and
diverse range of individuals and organizations;
• Passion for social / development impact using business models;
• Willingness to travel;
• Ability to work effectively across multiple international cultures;
Qualifications and Experience
• MBA Finance or Chartered Accountant
• Past professional experience: 2 to 5 years
• Prior entrepreneurial experience would be preferred.
