AlmaBetter has recently raised an undisclosed round of funding from top-tier Indian VC firm and marquee angel investors from Polygon Technology, Swiggy, Navi, Zeta, Mamaearth, Meesho, Toppr, Blackbuck, Zuppee and others.

Started in 2020, the company provides technical training and placement services in high-growth functions such as Data Science and Software Development on a novel “Pay After Placement” model. In this model, the company earns only when the aspirants land full time jobs. Hence, the company works vehemently with students at every step of the learning process to ensure aspirants acquire the in-demand skill sets and land a full time job within 6-9 months of joining the program.

Prime Responsibilities

● Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
● Actively seek out new sales opportunities through calling warm leads, networking and social
media
● Familiarizing yourself with all products and services offered by AlmaBetter.
● Reach out to aspirants who have shown interest in becoming a part of our ecosystem and
leverage appropriate offerings to make successful conversions.
● Suggesting upgrades or added products and services that may be of interest to clients.
● Remaining in tune with trends in consumption to ensure that our offerings remain relevant.
● Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences
● Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
● Collaborate with team members to achieve better results
● Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams

Requirements

● Proven experience as a Sales Executive or relevant role (Preferred)
● Proficiency in English
● Hands-on experience with CRM software is a plus
● Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
● Fast learner and passion for sales
● Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
● Excellent written and verbal communication.
● Intuitive and insightful, particularly regarding customer behavior.
● Great networking skills.
