JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for exceptional managers to facilitate the growth of innovators and entrepreneurs at every stage of their journey. As a manager, you will play the leading role in launching, developing, implementing, and managing strategy to ensure the success and growth of the organization and its portfolio.

• Your experience and competencies
  • A minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience, such as managing incubation, acceleration, funding, corporate innovation programs supporting startups, and developing startup ecosystems/ experience as a founder/ investment professional, would be a plus.
  • Polished and straightforward communication — written and spoken with different levels of stakeholders 
  • Strong business acumen means you can build from the bottom up and have experience taking early-stage startups forward. 
  • Graduate/ Post-Graduate Degree in Engineering/ Science, preferably below 30 years; an MBA or CFA post-bachelor degree is a plus.

KEY RESULTS AREAS:

• Scout and onboard entrepreneurs according to the defined criteria and process. Ensure smooth day-to-day overall functioning of the incubator/ accelerator/ fund by coordinating with operations, finance, investment, marketing, and other relevant team members.
• Develop processes and ensure the implementation of the overall program structure; plan capacity building, outreach, and showcase in coordination with other PMUs.
• Establish an effective working relationship with the IIT Delhi faculty, FITT stakeholders, and an ecosystem of investors, mentors, service providers, etc., to actively support startups. Regularly interact with and support portfolio ventures, and nurture a vibrant startup community.
• Effectively manage the grants/ donations received from different sources; ensure timely reporting and compliance as per expectations. In close coordination with the finance team, manage the program budgets and project reviews.

COMPENSATION & TENURE:

In the range of INR 6-9 lakh annual CTC, depending on experience and skills. It will be a contractual position with an initial period of appointment of up to two (2) years, extendable based on performance. There will be an initial probation period of 3-6 months.

SELECTION PROCESS:

The shortlisted candidates will be called for personal interview(s) as required by the selection committee. The results of the selection process would be considered final.
