Nature of post: The vacancy is to be filled up purely on fixed term basis initially for two years. It may be extended further subject to satisfactory performance. However, the appointment could be terminated by serving one month notice.

Job description and responsibilities

The Program Manager will be managing the incubation programs & building the partner

ecosystem at AIC GGSIPU. The broad responsibilities of the Program Manager

would include:

(i) Work closely with CEO to design and implement best in class incubation policy, systems and frameworks for prospective startups, spinoffs, entrepreneurs and founders;

(ii) Design, develop and run Incubation / Acceleration program at AIC-GGSIPU;

(iii) Plan and execute new cohort onboarding, scouting and selecting the relevant startups;

(iv) Create a structured curriculum for participating startups, including workshops,

mentoring sessions, and other resources;

(v) Manage the Incubation program’s budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources;

(vi) Lead the process of selecting and admitting startups into the program;

(vii) Evaluate and assess business proposals, team capabilities, and market potential;

(viii) Collaborate with internal and external partners to identify promising startups and/or aspiring founders;

(ix) Provide guidance and mentorship to incubated startups, addressing their unique needs and challenges;

(x) Connect startups with a network of industry experts, investors, and potential customers;

(xi) Monitor the progress of startups and offer timely assistance when necessary;

(xii) Facilitate access to resources such as office space, infrastructure, and equipment;

(xiii) Assist in securing funding, grants, or investment opportunities for startups, spinoffs, entrepreneurs and AIC-GGSIPU;

(xiv) Coordinate legal, financial, and administrative support services as needed;

(xv) Organize events, networking opportunities, and workshops to encourage knowledge sharing;

(xvi) Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success of startups in the program;

(xvii) Regularly evaluate and report on the progress of incubated companies to stakeholders;

(xviii) Build relationships with corporate partners to

secure research & consulting projects for AIC-GGSIPU;

Qualification, Experience & Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering / Technology (BCA / B.Sc. / B.E. / B.Tech.) with minimum

60% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA.

Desirable Educational Qualification

Postgraduate degree in Science or Engineering / Technology (M.Sc. / M.E. / M.Tech. / MS)

with minimum 60% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA and/or a Master of Business

Administration (MBA) with specialization in innovation & entrepreneurship,

with minimum 60% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA.

Experience

-Minimum 2 years’ experience in the start-up/ innovation/ entrepreneurship domain, in a similar role in a reputed

Innovation & start-up promoting organization or as a founder of any startup or any combination of these;

-Should have a good understanding of startup companies, technology and incubation, early-stage investments, raising funds;

and Should be well versed with social media marketing tools and techniques.

Desirable Experience

-4 years’ full-time experience of managing or heading the programs in any AIC or any other reputed Incubator/Accelerator in India.

The eligible candidate should have:

-Soft skills including articulation since the engagement is people-centric; and

– A strong command over English language along with proficiency in Hindi. Applicants are expected to be well versed in conceptualizing, compiling, and putting together papers, presentations, techno- legal/ commercial documents, proposals, etc.

– Updated knowledge of Computer applications (word processing, spreadsheet, presentation software etc.) and other additional required software skills used in office work;
