Location: Mumbai, India

Commitment: 6-12 Months, Full-Time

Convivialité Ventures is a corporate VC firm backed by Pernod Ricard, a global wine and spirits company with brands like Blenders Pride, Absolut, Chivas Regal, etc. We partner with and invest in consumer startups “in the convivialité space” that redefine the way people socialize, entertain, and share experiences together. Our investments in India include Dunzo, EloElo, Join Ventures (IGP).

About the role:

We are looking for an intern to assist the core investment team at Convivialité Ventures India.

She/he will work developing and reviewing financial models, work on investment memos and support due diligence, and analysis of potential investments. She/he will also assist in market research and analysis that will drive our investment theses. She/he must be able to work in a fast-paced, team environment and actively contribute to the development of Convivialité Ventures.

The position provides a unique opportunity to enter the VC world by providing an insider’s view. We are looking for someone who is passionate about tech, startups and venture capital.

Responsibilities:

· Work on sectoral deep dives and market maps on specific investment areas to help drive our investment theses and sourcing efforts

· Support due diligence activities, conduct financial modeling, and assist with investment memos & presentations

· Assist in managing the investment pipeline. Help manage deal flow by assisting with inbound requests, systematizing proactive follow-ups, etc.

· Provide ad-hoc support to the team

Requirements:

· Bachelors’/Masters’ degree from a top Indian / Global university

· Ideally pre-MBA and joining a top Indian / global MBA programme in the following year

· Prior experience in a fast-paced business (Investment Bank, Consulting Firm, Startups, VC) is a plus but not necessary

· Superior work ethic, strong desire to learn, uncompromising attention to detail

· Passionate about the venture capital and start-up ecosystem.

· Strong analytical ability; understanding of financial statements and business metrics

· High level of proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to juggle multiple projects and work on tight deadlines

· Work well with others on a team

· High standards of work ethic in terms of perseverance and commitment
