We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join Matrix Partners India, In house finance team as a Manager – Finance
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our portfolio of investments, overseeing financial strategies, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and managing financial risks.

Responsibilities:
- Manage financial planning and analysis functions, including forecasting, budgeting, and long-term financial planning.
- Manage accounting, taxation, regulatory requirements as applicable to different entities.
- Internal data analytics, reporting and MIS
- Oversee the financial performance of the investment portfolio, including tracking, monitoring, and reporting on the financial health of portfolio companies.
- Develop and implement in-house financial strategies to maximize returns and manage risks.
- Oversee the financial reporting process, ensuring compliance with local and international financial regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with external auditors and manage the audit process.
- Manage relationships with stakeholders, including investors, banks, and portfolio companies.
- Provide financial expertise to the management team and board of directors, supporting strategic decision-making.
- Continuously improve financial processes and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- CA Degree- Mandatory
- 4-5 years of experience in finance
- Experience of working in early to growth stages startups or large companies in corporate finance roles OR
- Experience in venture capital, private equity, or investment management firm
- Strong understanding of financial regulations especially SEBI and RBI and accounting standards.
- Expertise in financial modelling, analysis, and forecasting.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Sound management skills, with the ability to manage a team and work collaboratively with other departments.
- Proficiency in using financial software and systems. Good knowledge of Excel is important.
