About Dinesh Hinduja Family Office:
Dinesh Hinduja Family Office is the single-family office of the erstwhile promoter of Gokaldas Exports. The family has a global portfolio across public equity, real estate, and private market investments. The investment intern will work directly with the Private Market Lead for PE/VC investments to build investment thesis and evaluate investment opportunities in startups (Series B and onwards). The family office has had a vintage of investing in VC funds (Fireside, Chiratae, Blume, Ribbit etc) for the last ~10 years with a portfolio of top-tier domestic and international VC funds.
Role:
- Thesis development:sectoral research through secondary and primary research. Mapping out existing startups, and business models across the value chain in a sector by reading reports and engaging with ecosystem (speaking to founders, VCs, and Domain Experts). The thesis will entail also Identifying potential investment opportunities for the family office.
- Startup evaluation:The intern will get a first-hand opportunity to learn a strong framework for startup/business analysis for investing. The intern will support in building conviction and evaluating the startup. The work will include market sizing, performing competitive analysis, understanding and validating the problem statement & value proposition, undertaking financial analysis and evaluating the founding team.
