We at GrowthCap are looking to expand the team and hire a Research Analyst to support the investment team.
As a Research Analyst, you will play a crucial role in building thesis in sectors of interest to the fund. Your responsibilities will include in-depth research, analysis of regulatory frameworks, building comprehensive thesis notes, and building financial models for opportunities under evaluation. The focus areas will be FinTech, SaaS, and Deeptech. We are seeking someone who has a passion for research and an understanding of different business models in the industry.
Responsibilities:
>Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies relevant to our investment focus areas.
>Familiarity with the business models of FinTech and SaaS companies with the ability to build & and assess the strengths and weaknesses of different financial models.
>Conduct a comprehensive analysis of financial statements, business models, competitive landscapes, and growth potential.
>Prepare detailed reports and present findings to the investment team.
Candidate Requirements:
>Work Experience: 1-2 years of experience in the VC, I.B, or similar roles.
>CA/MBA qualification is preferred but not necessary.
>Early joiners will be preferred.
>Work Location: Mumbai.
