Short-Term Associate Job Description
Theia Ventures is hiring for its 10-12 weeks Short-Term Associate Program. As a Short Term
Associate, you will work with the investment team of Theia on deal evaluation, sourcing, developing a
thesis, climate tech research, and thought leadership. By the end of the program, you would have
evaluated multiple deals, gained expertise in the industry, and developed an understanding of the
investment life cycle
Responsibilities for Short-Term Associate
• Create/ maintain a pipeline of startups, and collaborate with Investment Team to evaluate
the business
• Demonstrate an informed sector knowledge to build an investment thesis in the climate
tech and circular economy space and assist in thought leadership
• Analyzing, and understanding the investment life cycle process to identify and prioritize
results for improvement opportunities
• Helping team with the social media content for LinkedIn and Twitter
Qualifications for Short-Term Associate
• Analysts must have strong writing, numerical and analytical skills, as well as exceptional
attention to detail
• Pre-MBA or ongoing MBA/Master’s student
• Able to work remotely and independently, self-driven, and can define tasks needed to
achieve the stated goals
