A new-age alternative investment firm for an emerging India
As investment associate at Anicut Capital, you will be responsible for supporting the Fund Partner and other senior team members with all aspects of investments. You will work closely with senior management and shall act as a contributing member of the investment team with responsibilities throughout the investment process.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist investment team in sourcing and evaluating investment proposals
- Research on industry, sector, and business models
- Prepare financial models, worksheets, investment notes
- Analyzing financial statements
- Monitor portfolio company performance
- Maintain active participation in India’s start-up community
Skills required
Interpersonal, decision making, negotiation, financial, analytical
Key Criteria
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in Investment Banking / PE / VC or Business Analyst roles at Tier 1 consulting firms
- Educational qualifications: MBA / CA / CFA
- Must be a self-starter and have an entrepreneurial mindset
- Strong financial skills, including proficiency in Excel
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities with excellent research, problem-solving, and time management skills
- Strong writing skills for preparing detailed reports and memos
