About the Job: We are looking for a hungry, tenacious, and passionate investment analyst to join our team in San Francisco. The role involves sourcing and helping with diligence on the most exciting start-ups in the US and identifying the best market segments to deep-dive into. Strong performers will have an opportunity to continue to develop within the organization.
Tasks And Role Expectations:
- Speak to ~20 CEOs from exciting North American start-ups each week.
- Source companies in given verticals and identify categories and founders to build relationships with.
- Synthesize notes and key takeaways from conversations with founders.
- Build a network in the start-up and venture capital ecosystem.
- Create market research for Headline’s investment areas and help with diligence on deals.
Job Requirements:
- 0-3 years of experience across tech startups, banking, PE, consulting, or other analytical roles (applicants straight out of college with a deep passion for technology and involvement in tech programs will be accepted).
- A background in Business, Economics, Computer Science, or other relevant majors.
- Excellent conversation and people skills.
- Deeply passionate and likely already involved in tech communities.
- Thrive in unstructured environments.
- Technical skills are a plus.
