Venture Capital Job – Manager / Senior Manager (Accounts & Finance) – Mistry Ventures

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated Manager/ Sr. Manager Accounts & Finance to join our dynamic team in Colaba, Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, along with the capability to effectively liaise with external agencies.

Responsibilities:

· Oversee all aspects of the company’s accounting operations (bookkeeping), including but not limited to vendor payments, payroll, and financial reporting and secretarial compliances.

· Ensure compliance with local accounting, RBI regulations and tax laws.

· Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports for senior management.

· Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.

· Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, AD Bank and RBI consultants as needed.

· Manage data input and provide financial analysis and insights of portfolio companies to support the investment team when needed.

Qualifications:

· A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required, along with CA certification. Candidates with both CA and CS certification will be given preference.

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.

· Strong understanding of Indian accounting standards and tax regulations.

· Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally ERP.

· Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
