The Fund supports early-to-mid stage companies in Agtech, Foodtech, Rural / Agri Fintechs etc. The portfolio of the Fund includes Akshaamala Solutions Pvt Ltd (Unnati), Greenizon Agritech Consultancy Pvt Ltd (Jai Kisan), Vilcart Solutions Private Limited (Vilcart), Nupa Technologies Private Limited (Eggoz), GFM Retail Private Limited (Tender Cuts), Nupa Technologies Private Limited (Eggoz), Dr Jackfruit Private Limited (“Beyond Snacks”) etc.

NABVENTURES Limited is looking to hire one Principal.

Position: Principal (Investments)

Reporting to: CEO

Location: Mumbai

Key Responsibilities:

 Intensive research of the agri, food and rural space  Deal origination and evaluation

 Find investment opportunities, carry out due diligence & vetting of new investment opportunities

 Preparation of investment memoranda and present to the Investment Committee;

 Negotiation, structuring and review of legal agreements;

 Identification of key risks facing the portfolio and implementation of mitigating strategies/policies;

 Participate in portfolio company Board as a board observer.

 Tracking of market trends and developments

 Building of detailed financial models for business and investment decision making

 Preparation and review of deal documents such as Investment Memorandum, issuance of Term Sheets, drafting of Shareholder Agreements etc.)

 Deal Exit

What we are looking for:

 Strong academic credentials (preferably MBA/PGDM) from top-tier institutions

 More than 10 years of relevant working experience in venture capital/private equity investments( a demonstrable exit track record would be a plus). For other eligibility details, please refer to the job post on www.nabventures.in

 Prior experience in the food and agri investments would be a plus

Remuneration: Competitive

The above appointment shall initially be for a period of three (03) years subject to annual performance review and subject to renewal by mutual consent.
