About AdvantEdge Founders

We’re an early stage VC fund with a focus on mobility. Successful track record across 2 previous funds, now launching Fund III. Targeting companies across the shared mobility, EV, logistics, and auto space, several of whom have attained market leadership in their sectors. Visit www.advantedge.vc

The Job

We’re a small team, with 5 out of 7 members focused on making and managing investments. You will be the 6th.

We’re former founders – having been on the other side helps us see things from a founder’s POV.

In addition to taking ownership of specific functions based on past exp. / specializations, each of us handle a variety of common tasks:

• Thesis Building Identify opportunities / create and share models around specific pain-points and white-spaces where large defensible business can be built. Landscapes / comp-sets / market maps.
• Deal Sourcing Identify high quality companies that fit our target stage. Build relationships with founders, potential founders, industry players, other investors, etc.
• Due Diligence Commercial and technical. Identify what differentiates the target company and whether it is a venture-worthy bet.
• Investment Recommendation Convinced about an opportunity? Write an investment memo, take the company to the Investment Committee, get the investment approved.
• Portfolio Support Maintain relationships with companies where you lead investments / can add value. Help founders set targets and achieve their goals. Check-in with founders, measure and track progress and blockers.
• Fund Reporting Prepare regular updates for LPs on portfolio company updates and fund performance.

Requirements

Must Haves

• A deep understanding of EV hardware, batteries, energy, grid, etc.
• Prior experience with entrepreneurship

and/or

Prior experience working in the mobility or energy domain

• Engineering background

Good To Have (but not necessary)

• Prior experience working in VC
• Located in Bangalore / Delhi NCR
