Venture Capital Internship – Student Partner Program – Venture Highway

💪🏼 Who Should Apply

This role is for final year undergrad students at IIT Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur Madras, Roorkee and BITS Pilani, St. Stephens, SRCC, LSR and final year MBA students at IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore and Calcutta (2023 grads). Final year students from other colleges are also encouraged to apply.

It will be a great fit for folks who are going to join companies in a few months and want a VC experience. You can do this alongside any other activity/internship/early days of your job.

The MBA program will be more advanced than the UG program.

🚀 About Venture Highway (VH)

We are an early-stage seed fund.

Venture Highway teams up with the next generation of entrepreneurs by providing guidance and capital to early-stage nascent ideas in technology

We are looking to team up with founders who demonstrate a passion and ability to create world-class businesses. If you’ve got the ability, drive, desire, passion, perseverance and all that ‘good’ (but really really painful) stuff then you’ve reached the right place

VH has teams based in Bangalore, Delhi and San Francisco. We do Pre-Seed/Seed/Pre-Series A investments and follow-on rounds. We are sector agnostic and we look for companies that have strong tech components.

Some of our portfolio founding teams that have created categories include Meesho, Moglix, Sharechat, MPL and CRED among others.

🤠 What does the role look like?

We expect this program to be intensive and challenging for our student partners. We’d expect you to be enthusiastic to learn about the Indian startup ecosystem and work with founders in their 0-1 journey. Your day to day activity would look like:

• Growing your network and meeting startup founders
• Help Venture Highway discover startups from various sources
• Evaluating companies and gathering feedback on the founders you work with
• Working with portfolio companies on special projects

🤩 What’s in it for you?

We expect you to get a deep dive into the Indian startup ecosystem through this program:

• We would provide you with resources that would help you in evaluating startups
• Quarterly session where we hold workshops where we’d do demo analysis of startups and help you evaluate startups

🤑 Stipend

It will consist of fixed pay and a bonus if your lead gets converted to a deal with VH. The bonus will be 1 lakh (or more!).
