Position : Marketing/Content Leader
Location: Bengaluru
We are looking to bring on board a dynamic and experienced marketing leader who can lead end to
end marketing interventions for Kalaari Capital. The leader will be responsible for building the brand,
content, thought leadership and communication strategy for Kalaari and its leadership through
multiple platforms. The role requires out of box creative ability, strategic & analytical mindset and
diverse stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and content strategy to drive brand
leadership and increase visibility in the industry and startup community in line with the
organisation’s vision
• Develop and execute high-impact brand campaigns across different online and offline
platforms
• Create and manage content across various platforms including website, blog, social media,
email marketing, and other digital channels
• Manage all aspects of the company’s social media presence, including content creation,
community engagement, and analytics
• Collaborate with the investment team to produce thought leadership pieces, industry reports
and newsletters.
• Distributing content on the appropriate platforms and measuring the results of marketing
activities.
• Create and execute community building programs
• Develop and execute campaigns to promote our portfolio companies and their achievements
• Lead on Portfolio communication
• Work with external partners and vendors to produce high-quality collateral such as videos, ,
podcasts, graphics, etc.
• Take end-to-end ownership of projects and deliver independently, with very high quality
of execution.
• Control marketing budgets and allocate resources amongst projects.
• Lead the company’s response to press inquiries, and manage media expectations in
relation to responses, information and data
• Collaborate with multiple internal teams and stakeholders to deliver impactful data
and actionable insights from investment pipeline, events and community activities.
Qualifications and Competencies –
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in content and marketing roles, with a focus on the
tech/consumer/start-up industry
• Proven Digital Marketing experience
• Strong track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns across
multiple channels
• Excellent writing and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to craft engaging and
informative content.
• Be completely hands-on in managing end to end marketing planning and execution
• Experience in managing social media accounts and developing social media strategies
• Proficiency in analytics tools such as Google Analytics and social media analytics platforms
• Knowledge of SEO and SEM best practices
• Experience of working with cross functional teams and multiple stakeholders
• A high comfort level of working in a fast-paced, agile business environment.
• Passion for the startup ecosystem and a good understanding of the tech industry in India
