According to the survey published by Statista, Air pollution, climate change and over population were the top most concerning environmental issues in India.
Water pollution, deforestation, water quality and dealing with the solid waste also remains on the top of the list.

500+ respondents between the age group of 16-74 years have shared their views on the three most important environmental issues facing India today.
According to the source, respondents were urban & educated, and with higher incomes than their fellow citizens. They were referred to as “Upper Deck Consumer Citizens”. Not more than three answers were allowed for each respondent.
